Dixon and passenger Andy Hetherington successfully contested and won the
World Sidecar Championship in 1995 and again in 1996 in a team sponsored
by Myco and managed by Myco CEO, Aden Murcutt.
From that day to this, MYCO have found that there is no question regarding the value of motorcycle racing to a growing and dynamic company.
The powerful imagery, the connection between the fast objectives of the corporation and the terrifying speeds of the sidecar outfits, these all come together to create terrific marketing opportunities which MYCO have been quick to exploit.
Having beaten the whole world, twice, the team felt there was little to be accomplished by doing it yet again and returned to competition in the UK, but this time with just 2 wheels.
The MYCO superbike team is now one of the top teams in the worlds
leading national superbike competitions. Darren Dixon is now the
manager for this team.
